Bio .About.  I'm Ailsa; I'm a Scottish girl living in Japan. I am a lot more than this, but until I can face the task of summarising my being into a couple of paragraphs you can have a placeholder photograph:  My twin brother and I, from his visit to Tokyo in March 09. :) I also take pictures of things and people and stuff. See my Flickr for those; I am a complete amateur of a photographer, but perhaps chance has given me one or two captures that are worth looking at. Friends Only! My journal is 100% friends-only these days. Quite a few people have asked to add me so they can read all about what it's like to be a foreigner living in Japan; I realise that this is an interesting topic for many, especially those who are considering coming here too, but please understand that this is my private blog. There are, however, a multitude of public Japan blogs (most of them much better written than my own!) that I'd encourage you to follow instead- I'll add a list Tl;dr version: "can I add you?" is likely to be a futile request unless I know you in some way.
